Have you ever heard from your parents that ,
" if you sit in front of the tv close to it , you will soon get glasses."
Have you ever thought of buying a tv and got in the confusion of which size should it be ???
If yes then you are at the right place and I'm going to answer all of your questions here .
So if your sofa is 20 feet away from the tv and you have a 32 inch tv , then you can imagine that if a match is going on in that tv then you will hardly even be able to read the scores .
On the other hand,
If your sofa is 10 feet away from the tv and you have a big HD tv , you would feel as if you were a table fan i.e turning your head left to right for getting the view.
Then what should be the ideal size ???
If your thinking about the ideal size then the best estimate would be :
1) Measure the distance between your sofa (where you sit to watch tv ) and the TV in inches . For eg.10 feet is 10×12=120 inches .
2)Now divide this inch result (here 120 inches ) by 3 i.e 120 /3 = 40 inches
3) This 40 inch is the diagonal measurement of the tv.
Thus here , in the above case , 40 inch is the ideal size of the tv for you.
